Sorry to drag things ‘off topic’
Just that we have been shielding throughout this, as my wife has incurable myeloma, since 2012, and then last March her kidneys failed, so it has been dialysis 3 times a week and will be forever, on top of the rest
Then BoJo and all the shenanigans come out
Apologies again, but hope you can cut me some slack for my indiscretion

Please continue. There is more than enough room on here for you to air your views without asking for any slack. It is tough enough without all the hassle from C-19 and if it helps you and Ann(e) keep posting, you have my support.
Stay safe both of you

Re: COVID-19 UK
Oh well, despite doing my best to avoid this damn virus, after it was brought into my home, i have since went and caught it! Symptoms are nowhere near as bad as the head cold i had last month so hope it stays that way.
Being jabbed and boosted, i thought i was doing the right thing with testing and back at work for one day, but someone found a sub paragraph that said different which opened a can of worms at work!
Hope everything is as well as it can be for you and yours Paddyboy, and everyone else who find themselves in similar situations.

Our fully vaccinated 14 year old has just tested positive for C-19. I had three weeks of Asian flu during the ‘50s so perhaps but unlikely some of those antibodies have been passed on as it seems only a mild attack.
Johnson and his helpers needed assistance from the military to fight the pandemic. So, off t
I am certainly no expert but your child's immunity , if it exists is more likely to have come from his/her mother's womb and breast milk plus of course jabs like the MMR. I don't believe the male injection contributes a lot in that area!
The immune system genome or factory is part of the human body DNA but the constituents that recognizes foreign viruses etc is made during your life time from exposure. Individuals may have a strong or deficient immune system based on hereditary but the actual immunity is normally built up via passive exposure either in or outside of the womb or vaccination.

What I wish for is a government that is run properly with a efficient leader as PM. I am not a political person, just a reasonable judge of character.
