By all accounts there are reports in the Daily Mirror, all speculation about the Defence Spending Review 2020

Lets pop this thread in the Car Park eh Chaps, until anything is officially forthcoming in any SDR 2020 ?
otherwise, it might develop into the annual "All aboard grounding the Reds Bus - Ding Ding..."

So no more at threat than all defence reviews, they are always at threat but fingers crossed, thought there was something more concrete than the Daily Mirror.

Just due diligence probably. Everything goes on the table then discussed and prioritised.

Since it only costs £10m per year a few prominent footballers (or other equally overpaid "celebs") could donate their weekly wage. Job sorted.

Hey buddy not aggregated anyone, from your original posted sounded like it was a done deal from an official source. Now I know it's from the mail i know that it's just click bait, I'm sure the reds will be reviewed as the have been since options for change (iirc) in the early 1990s but until I hear it from the mod I'll not panic.

The article also stated we are to get rid of all of our battle tanks and the Royal Marines. It is, as per usual, not in the slightest bit true as the review isn't until next year so nowhere near fact!

Haven't seen the article let alone read it, but where does the USAF B-1 fleet come into our SDSR 2020 review?
