How's the Snow with you?

It's pretty bad here in Mid Wales, already 3 inches of Snow. Temperature tonight forecast to drop to -14!!!!. Our Road has not been gritted/ploughed & the odd Car that is out is taking it very carefully apart from an Idiot on a Quad bike(Farm worker) went flying past our House in the middle of the Road. Just hope he doesn't meet anything ie Children walking to the local hill to go Sledging!

Hardly any in my part of Cambridgeshire when I got up this morning but a very nice covering now with a good couple of inches and still chucking it down. The sky has gone from dark grey to light grey and might go out with my camera later on.

not too bad here at Lincoln very fine stuff settling no depth as yet will add a nice flavour to the xmas market for a change

Believe the Lincoln Market has been cancelled for today, due to the weather.
Coming down thick and fast in Chippenham, starting to settle now as well.

yes the market as been cancelled lord knows why roads are all clear cant for the life of me see why ten min walk from me, we have had a lot worse years ago and never got cancelled then.

Occasional few bits in the air in Grimsby. Nothing on dry pavement. Maybe too far north, and we dont say that often!

Started with heavy rain at 7am this morning in Colchester, but it had turned to heavy snow by 9am with 2-3 ins now settled on the ground.
Its all slushy though and melting away, so I think it will have completely cleared away by tomorrow.

Started snowing at 07.15 in Spalding, South Lincs. Started to settle then turned to rain, so it's all gone

Earlier snow melted away this afternoon, had some fresh stuff fall a couple of hours ago and expecting more overnight and into tomorrow.

Woke to a crisp white landscape. Currently(07.48) temp is -6 with a wind chill predicted to be -9. Roads like sheets of ice. Been up since 7am & only 3 cars have gone past(normally well into double figures by this time). All Schools in my area closed. No refuge collections today,bin men put on gritting duties. Will clear/rock salt our front path just in case Postie/Couriers do get through.
