Because we've never had a manager who's managed to get the players to work...
You've forgotten about Terry Venables then.
And not forgetting Sir Alf; he only won the World Cup :thumb:

Fairly underwhelming match between The Netherlands and France and I think puts the England performance into perspective in that the Danish are quite a decent side and you can't expect England to just turn up and steam roller them.

Very harsh criticism of the Ref - the linesman flagged for off side and the goal was reviewed - it's not the ref who needs glasses but the crowd sometimes

Because the Premier League is full of teams that are full of players that don’t qualify to play for England, simples. With the exception of two or three players the England squad is made up of mediocre players that rely week in week out on the quality of overseas players around them.
Beat me to it Thunder but other nations have the same problem.

To be fair to the referee, it was out of his hands. The linesman put his flag up for offside and VAR confirmed it.
Dont know the exact rules but as the ref makes the final decision can he just ask to see the monitor to make certain in his own mind.Especially when it comes down to interpretation as in the Dutch game.

During the Portugal game today the commentators seemd to be puzzled at the number of people who got through the double line of stewards.I would have thought wait for an incident on the park, lot of noise ,human nature stewards look round for a moment and off you go.Problem is the last one I saw running on looked a bit rotund and was wobbling so cant account for how he made it.not a bung surely.

Good possession by the Scottish

If I was a Tory candidate I would be having a bet on a Scottish penalty

Disappointing Scotland performance so far, plenty of possession but absolutely nothing from it. Get Forest and Shankland on now.

You can have Southgate.

Not a single shot on goal by Scotland says it all. Watched the Barnabas Varga incident a few times still can't see what happened other than landing oddly

I can’t see any contact either, he just seems to fly through everyone, I think he was out before he hit the ground, hopefully that ends positive 🙏

Varga has a fractured cheek according to the BBC

Scotland were very disappointing - awful really

I don't follow Scottish football but according to the media they qualified well for the Euros so it seems like a different team has turned up

It would be ironic if down and out Hungary qualified with three points
