Apparently Lawrence Stroll has sold his stake in Aston Martin F1 🤔
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Yes Slogen. The bases are fine but the city is the pits [no pun intended] For me, one step below Dubai!.

Pune, I thought he had only sold some shares in the F.1 team, but perhaps I mis-read a bit of news I had seen.

You could well be correct raptor9, I only saw a little bit of an article, it will become clear I'm sure :thumb:

He's sold a stake but retains control. Some articles read as £1bn but the stake they've bought values the outfit as £1bn so that doesn't give much away. I guess if they'd bought 10% at £100m that's where the £1bn comes from. The buyer is a sports focussed private equity group.

And a question mark over FP2 actually taking place. Stunning organisation as usual

Good to see the anticipated comedy roadshow in Vegas continues. You'd think, with at the street circuits we have they'd have sorted this issue before it became one.

Aaaaaaaand Sainz now has a penalty because he's having to use new parts to replace those damaged by the drain cover. Unbelievable.

FP2 underway with a 90 minute session.

Literally no fans there as it's the middle of the night.

Dislike street circuits seem like driving through a metal tube provides no atmosphere as far as I can see.

Both are capable of delivering great races, but don't always. This year's races at Baku for example were no more enthralling than Monaco usually is.

Also nice of the race organisers to kick out those that did try to hang around for FP2. Whilst the reasoning is entirely understandable, they have only themselves to blame for the whole thing, and had the cheek to (reportably) charge up to $900 a ticket! I've struggled to imagine Spa 2021 being topped but this takes the biscuit.

So Red Bull and Mercedes broke curfews but not penalised.

The track wipes out Sainz's car and he is penalised.

Fans offered a $200 store voucher for being turfed out early.

Watching Qualifying looks like racing through an industrial estate covered in scaffolding.

No need to add any more...what a joke.

Reports F1 is being sued by 35K fans for loss of viewing because of that loose manhole.
Most exciting thing in F1 this year! 🤭

Well the race was far more entertaining than I expected all things considered. :thumb:

The stupid car ride to get to the interviews needs to go though, especially when they have to drive all the way back for the podium.
