Correct!!.....Cathy McGowan was on Ready, Steady, Go! on Friday evenings' ITV.

Bit easy in view of the ID A-10s deploying.

I had only looked at where the ID A-10 were based the other day. But I didn't ever see Ready Steady Go , I knew the name from a Generation X song of the same name.

Another then

You don't want to be far out at this Marine Corps base as it's not easy to see!

A not quite so easy one...although it might be...

"Penthouse located outside the EU provides sight of this well-known former EU base."

Need to be careful here a former EU base can be a current UK base!

I will try LEUchars? although I can't see the penthouse bit

No.

In this case, "former" = closed.

Well Bob.. looks like you got us all stumped with this one... I can't find away in with this one.

My thinking

Penthouse is a Condominium?... Condo?

Outside the EU... somewhere like Switzerland.

Well know closed EU base?

May be another clue please Bob... to get this moving again.

I should be doable but I can't think of a penthouse - flat , attic etc. Flateu ? Fleuat etc

I thought of Leck - it had EC for the euro commission

Or maybe it is a word literally containing EU ( why I tried Leuchars)

Penthouse is also a well known Mag

"located outside the EU".....think Passport Control at French Channel ports

When you drive back through Calais it is the UK border and the French border in Dover

Outside the Schengen area? Douannes

Specifically the signs.

There are two (disguised) "operations" that the clue tells you to perform.
