We saw fuel as low as £15.56 in the highlands over Easter,
Tesco Wick was only £1.58 for petrol

And yesterday in Audenshaw Manchester a garage with unleaded at £1.54

Stolen by the petrol companies! A few weeks back in April I passed a Tesco's daily and watched diesel go from £1.69 to £1.76 in about 7 days. What's the barrel price now compared to April?

Same Tesco this week now £1.81 for diesel. £2 a litre by the end of the year at this rate!

BP in weeting has diesel at £1.85.9 and unleaded at £1.84.9 petrol has always been cheaper by a considerable amount, That price board had me shocked as you get nothing like the milage from petrol as you do diesel. Luckily i have a diesel engine otherwise i would not be able to afford to get to work with those prices. How is that justified? It's beyond ridiculous.

It doesn't help us that the value of the pound against the Dollar is quite weak as I understand that buying the oil is done in US Dollar. Thanks Brexit (Ukraine situation doesn't help but was well on the rise, as with everything else, well before Ukraine).

It jumped up 6p a litre in less than 24 hours here just outside Cambridge
