Lots of empty seats and apparently (according to the BBC) it's because the locals have gone off to prayers, I think maybe the French fans should join them

I sense French supporters on here might become a bit frustrated with Argentina tactics as the second half progresses

Nudge - ouch full swallow dive!

Empty seats? Sounds like a great atmosphere

Well you can't argue that the best team on the day are winning.

France continue to be very poor indeed.

France looking a lot better I think with some decent crosses

Argentina must be careful not to sit too deep too early

Turned on to watch the match to find it's the Argentina diving championships. And dont mention the time wasting after 53mins. A one sided game turned it off to watch the Muppet christmas movie.
Absolute nightmare that lot winning the world cup !

Agree with the commentary - another very soft penalty

Nobody commenting on the Thuram? Deliberately diving to gain a French penalty - he was booked instead

Yep. Whipped shot from Messi

Extra time

Shouldn't Macron be back in France sorting out all the migrants that all too easily find boats and dingies from the French coast.

The French sell us down the river at every chance they get so I want Argentina to win.

They're all as bad as each other Mike. France still 1-4 up / down if you know what I mean, in the cheating chart for the match though (in my not-at-all-an-expert view.)

Cheating chart I like that

I prefer to think that they are asking the ref to make a decision

France looking ominous

Macron is a transient toad. Visit Normandy in June and the entante cordial is very much alive. Like Biden, Macron has British stock and they can’t stand that thought.
Vive La France.
