It was significant that on Friday, Lewis was faster down the main straight than Max, because straight line speed has been Mercedes Achilles heel until now.
Unfortunately reb dull still have 'that' DRS, plus with boy wonders blatant disregard to Hamiltons existence, he'll either push him off or crash into him. Depending on the outcome of turn 1 of course.

Very hot there today, could really affect tyres and number of pit stops. I'm rooting for Lando too..
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

High number of pit stops and potential safety cars could mix it up today. Someone will get caught out and vice versa

Great recovery from George.
Lando 2nd is decent but 30s back from Max.
Danny ahead of Tsunoda
Not the race I'd hoped for but some nice stats in there.
Zhou 5th to 16th ?
Where have Aston gone?
Perez did well but he's still a risk.

Indeed, not an inspiring race at all, in fact, quite boring and very predictable, Lando did well, hope it continues, whether I can continue to watch is another matter :(

Just got around to watching the Hungarian highlights

What have McLaren done!? What a turnaround from 6 races ago. Still really impressed with Piastri who I prefer to Norris.

I am a Hamilton fan but what a poor start - if that had been Perez or Russell they would have rightly attracted a lot of criticism

It wasn't that bad from what I recall, just both McLarens and of course boy wonder pretty much nailed it. Experience certainly got him through turn 1 though, most youthful driver's in that situation would have seen a similar result to 2021. Not that it matters anyway, all 3 cars would have been past him within a few laps anyway with the early race pace the Mercs had.
Russell and Perez however, whilst impressive drives from both, still we're out of position due to poor qualifying. The latter is half the reason why F1 is so boring at the moment. Whilst it's not entirely his fault his qually results have been a bit punani, it's still arguably the most dominant car the sport has ever seen and he's only made Q3 once in the last 6 races..

SailGP for me now. Has just about everything. The racing is great fun but Most importantly penalties are handed out in real time and taken by the teams immediately without issue.

Spa incoming, great race to have before the summer break. High chance of rain unsurprisingly. McLaren have proven they have a car that works on fast and twisty tracks now. Only a matter of time before we see Lando's first win. Russia '21 still in my mind so let the team make the tyre call mate if/when it rains mate.

🇺🇦 🌻 🇺🇦

Isn’t rain an essential ingredient for it to be a spa?

A “fine circuit” , second only to the old track at Nurburgring. ☂️
In the recording of the race, it was an unsettling to hear Hamilton asking his engineer whether the pits had adjusted his engine settings. F1 moves more towards Scalectrics each year.
Whilst in another grump, enthusiasts banned from parking near RAF families day displays. Rather an elitist approach to recruitment?
Enjoy the race.

Can't see anyone beating boy wonder anytime soon. Will be interesting too see what the weather brings, and the reaction to it. Not much has been said publicly by F1 since the incident.
