The commentator after Kane's second penalty.

"We needed Lineker, we got Waddle"

Oooooof! :ninja:

Just waiting on my posts being reported like last time even though no rules have been broken.
Why? if it makes you feel adequate so be it. 😜

Rule 4

You ruined this topic - it's not all about England there are other teams but you deliberately posted inflammatory remarks

I would gladly get rid of you but it is not down to me

If you say you don't care less about England or football then why are you posting except to break rule 4

Maybe a "Chevalier aux yeux rouges" and supporting the 'A.B.E.' Brigade.
Sad but everyone has an opinion.

Watches British TV channels, and complains about them covering the British teams (England) in the tournament. You can't make it up, it is hilarious

So tell me James why during the last France game at halftime the BBC had to speak to 2 England players about England last 16 games of the past? Nothing to do with this world cup but yet we had to go to the England camp just like every other game on BBC or ITV.

Getting annoyed put in 2 posts with basically positive views on England and both have disappeared. Is this because you think I was taking the P because I was not.

Cant be bothered rewriting it but basically every one except Ian Wright is going on about the missed penalty, how many have been missed by various teams ,it happens Other bit was they were after Southgate when appointed he asked for time he is getting it and look where you are now under him.Maybe final next time? f

All fair points, I think DS is a great manager and person, doubt anyone else would do any better. Gets my vote. Has performed very well.

Unfortunately as the cliché goes That is football

I thought England played pretty well but so did France in the first half

Kane - if you have the balls to stand up and take that penalty then he is alright by me.

I agree with the comments about sterling; nothing against him but after what he has been through recently I didn't think he would make a difference

My point was he didnt promise any quick fixes like most do when appointed ,he got his free rein and much as it pains me to admit it he is probably the best you have had for years because like Ramsay no one is guaranteed a place and everyone has a chance. He missed apenalty as well so maybe Harry will be his successor as he appears to be the same kind of person.

Ramsey, a fine Ipswich Manager (eh Paddy😜).
Sport is cruel to win you have to fire on every cylinder and if it’s not right you don’t win. Having said that the aim is to build a long term structure that leads to that pinnacle of success. Blaming an individual in a team game in this context means the team didn’t do enough to win, penalties are a bonus ball but not to be relied on.
I always want England to do well in any sport, if they deserve to.
Hope France do well and we learn from them.
