Another dodgy clue

There is so much unreal weed now at this viper base it is hard to see the northern flight line, next year perhaps.

This is the last base I could find in Ohio that as connection to a Olive tree... If I'm reading the clues correctly?

Nope, although you’re heading in the right direction with Ohio trees, there’s actually three clues in there that will take you to the same answer.

1/ This group of Badgers find themselves in old Scotland?

2/ This kid plays by the rules?

3/ This (Olive) tree may seem out of place in Ohio, or is it?
Albacete for 1/. ?
2 - Fairchild. ...Boom!

Can't do number3 - Toledo?
Wright-Patterson?

Olive callsign = Offut RC-135 when abroad but can't see the Ohio OH connection

Olive tree is of genus Olea? Or Moria - Athens acropolis but I can't see what either have to do with the price of fish here

It could be an anagram involving OH/HO but that hasn't been thunder's style so far?

Out of place could be mis something - Misawa?

Good answer but the base I had in mind really is in France

The sound alike band has a lead singer whom I confuse with Mary Decker!
