Oh dear, Archer has made a mess of Labuschagne's nice shiny helmet - why don't the batsmen get out of the way, the ball's only doing about 94mph?

Just talking about the substitute on TMS - seems strange to me.

Archer is brutal - wish I as seeing this on Tele

Don't think even Jiffery would get forward to him

6 overs to go and England need to get 4 wickets to win, can they do it?

I don't like or understand the changed substitution system

We know that previously subs could only field not bat nor bowl ( or keep wicket?)

Why didn't Archer come in for Anderson for the Australian second innings in the first Test ? They might not of got nearly 500 declared had Anderson been substituted.

Thanks

That does explain it very well - basically avoiding unnecessary risks as a result of concussion

Apparently Boris has told Root that he doesn't want to see a backstop in the field but a long stop might be acceptable.

England won the toss and chose to bowl.

Play was delayed until 12.10, Harris is out for 8, score is 12-1 and they've just come off the field as rain is falling again.
