Yes, but not keen on what appears to be simply more sophisticated Stock Car Racing, 'tho I do watch it on TV.

Brilliant, so on Sprint weekends of which there are now 6 this year (Azerbajain, Austrian, Belgian, Qatar, United States and Sao Paulo), we get two sets of qualy and two races. As an F1 fan I'm delighted.

Another red flag party. Would be nice to actually see some action, but of course, Liberty Media's entertainment plan of not having prepared cars qualifying is more entertaining.

Two qualys, two races. What's not to love ???
I swear most the people on this thread don't even like F1, they just come on here to winge after watching the Ch4 highlights or listening on 5Live.

It's already fallen sour, 2 drivers can't compete in the final "shootout" due to the ridiculous tyre rules (Tsunoda didn't make it Lando might) so that's great.

And what's wrong with that? It's supposed to be about quality racing, not increasing the chances of crashes that the Americans seem to love in motor racing. After all it's what Liberty want.

It could be great fun, or carnage.. :Wow:
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Cracking demonstration of why sprint races don't work at street tracks. Sprint Race? More like start practice.

Tis most amusing watching des trying to get the car back to the pits though. I do hope the team are substantially fined at least for that.

Actually quite dull for an Azeri race, doesn't bode well for tomorrow when softs are going off after 4 laps, and mediums after 8(for some)..
Still, tomorrow is another day.

What an absolutely boring procession, but hey we get "2 races" so that's fantastic!! Wow!! The idea of sprints were to shake up Sunday's main race, but alas both formats have failed.

Switch to WEC and IMSA ;) There is is the occasional over intitled tatrum from Seb Buemi (anyone see a RB link here) but it's fairly well mannered otherwise plus you get Martin Haven and John Hindhaugh respectively rather than the inflated ego of David Croft.

And, with his absolutely MASSIVE experience of these things, saying how F.1 should be run!!. The arrogance of the wheedling little Dutchman knows few bounds. Never mind Max, Mr. Perez is coming to knock you of your high chair!!!.
