It's speculation... no one knows for sure what the long term ramifications of staying or leaving will be.I'll take my chances and tick the leave box. If Barack O'Barmy thinks the EU is such a great idea, why doesn't he sign up... can you imagine the USA subjecting itself to the edicts and diktats of unelected and undemocratic bureaucrats in Brussels.... no, me either.... all he's worried about is TTIP and his own pockets..... didn't he say that the UK will be at the back of the queue for trade deals? Who in America uses the word queue over the word line... it appears to me that #10 orchestrated that nonsense he was spouting... fab. Britain against Britain. #voteleave

Do people honestly think trade will suddenly stop, I don't think so.

Of course trade won't stop, but there's a good chance that goods and services from EU member countries will become more expensive for Brits to consume, and there's also a good chance that British exports will become more expensive for EU member countries to import.

Less household disposable income is not a good thing for the economy (reducing domestic demand for goods and services), and a reduction in demand for our exports (as a consequence of them becoming more expensive) is not good for employment either.

At a time where the global economy is still teetering on the brink, it is, IMHO, a dangerous game to consider playing.

Of course it's speculation! Until it happens, that's all any of this is, whatever side of the fence you are sitting on!!!

Read around and you will see that there are plenty of EU member nations threatening to play hard ball with us if we dare to leave. Whether they do so, only time will tell.

Debate is heating up and I am growing tired of the Scaremongering that is going on. DC 'there will be war', what on earth is he on about?

Britain is a strong nation and we can go it alone. Europe is more worried about losing us than we are of losing them.

People's decisions will not be swayed by a campaign, this has been decided over many years by a lot of us. EU is off the rails.

This is what bugs me, he stood up and said we could go it alone and now he says we can't because his EU friends say so.

As a small(ish) manufacturing company we sell to EU countries, non-EU countries in Europe, and to companies worldwide. I don't see any difference to our sales if we are in or out of the EU. The economic effect of a Brexit is pure supposition on both sides.

If you have the right to cast a vote, please do. It would be a waste not to do so.

If the outcome is a result to leave the EU, it is not binding, merely embarrassing to the Government. As politicians they have no legal commitment to start the exit, I might be wrong here but I don't think so.

Neither side of the argument has a clear idea of the future, whatever the outcome.
The reunification of Germany was only predicted about half an hour before crowds started to knock down the Wall. The latest recession happened at short notice. Mount St. Helens was being monitored.
Britain is closer to the lower 48 than Hawaii.

After a lot of research, the first time that I voted it was for a party leader with a degree in economics. Look where that got us!

Don't really know where I stand, but one thing I do know some of the EU legislations seem to expand once it hits the Whitehall Mandarins. Some years ago I worked in the motorcycle trade and the EU brought out new rules for motorcycle silencers, when it left Brussels it was something like a 3-page document, by the time our civil servants got hold of it, it was a multiple page booklet. At about the same time it was brought in that all motorcycle tyres had to have an EU safety marking which going through the channels in this country was going to be a very expensive process but by going through a Dutch wholesaler at the time who we also obtained tyres from the markings were a fraction of the cost. So my argument is that a lot of the problems with EU legislations do not come from Brussels but the problems lies at home within our own civil service establishment.

Listening to dodgy Dave on Sky News, I wish he would stop going on about the migrant not allowing to claim benefits. Doesn't he understand it's not what they can claim it's the sheer numbers that people annoyed about and the impact on the local infrastructure?

The PM on Sky:-
- The continuous banging on about trade with the EU, as if trade will come to a standstill when we leave. Trade goes both ways, the benefits goes both ways and the EU will lose just as much if they play hardball in renegotiating terms.
- The economies of most of the continental EU members are scraping the barrel, they have nothing to show for all their bluster.
- The elephant in the room, immigration/migrants/illegals, he had NO answer for. Hats off to the young woman who told him to stop waffling.

Kay Burley as moderator was a disaster, clueless as to the task of moderating.

And then, same subject different angle, the sight of another German Chancellor, the third in the past 100 years, telling and pontificating to the British about this that and the other. One of the biggest vote winners for the OUT campaign is the sight of Angela Merkel preaching to the British about what and what not to do regarding their sovereignty and place in the world. We have never taken lessons from the Germans.

And the Luftwaffe is in a terrible state ....

The problem is far too much scaremongering and not enough actual facts, it did seem like cameron only had one concern which is just the economy. IF we did leave and like what the ex copper said last night, the rest of Europe aren't going to simply stop telling us information around security and vice versa. Looking forward to part 2 tonight.

For all the talk of immigration, leaving the EU won't stop it. The net migration figure of 333,000 has been thrown around a lot, but out of that figure only 184,000 people, just over half, actually came from the EU.

The economy is the biggest question mark, not immigration. He is right to be completely focused on it.

How come back in November Cameron said we would "thrive" outside the EU, yet 7 months later it's all doom and gloom. Project fear so far it's not working for a large portion of the population. DC is damaged good and could be coming towards the end of his time .

The economy is biggest question mark for some. Immigration for other, come to Lincolnshire especially Boston, Spalding and Wisbech in Norfolk. You'll see immigration is a lot more important to these towns

Boston, most migrates per head of population, biggest increase in population in the last few years. Most divided town and now murder capital of the UK per capita. Ask some of the locals i'm sure they will tell you what is up on their agenda.
