I got one of those fancy "smart" phone things that I vowed I'd never have, I've watched the people that have them over the years - walking into bollards and lamp-posts - those scrolling up and down index-finger movements - the huge amount of owners that have said "I've cracked the screen and it's going to cost fifty quid to replace" - not to mention the huge amount of owners that have said "I only charged it yesterday and the battery's flat already"

For Christmas, like many people, I ate to much, drunk too much & have been asking myself ever since why on earth we do it every Christmas?

I even took myself off for a days fishing yesterday as that's the only way to get away from all the food and drink in the house .
