Pakistan is definitely helping the Taliban
Pakistan is definitely helping the Taliban
On all the news channels since a few days ago.
NATO top brass together with several intelligence agencies have had "thousands" of Taliban prisoners come forward and all mention that Pakistan Intelligence services are definitely helping the Taliban attack western forces in Afghanistan and within Pakistan itself.
Pakistan denied this today on TV but the thousands of interrogations say the opposite.
Kind of makes you wonder why Bin Laden was able to reside just a few hundred metres from the Pakistani military academy for years unhindered.
In all, up to 27,000 prisoners have been interrogated and each mention Pakistan.

And for those who think the BBC make up their news...
The same elsewhere

Meanwhile on the news tonight (ch4), the Taliban have confirmed they will retake Afghanistan after 2015.

Re: Pakistan is definitely helping the Taliban
That last word is the key.
This country (Government) is too afraid to say anything and it has become a major problem. Australia and France for example have not been afraid of opening their mouths and doing something about certain subjects relating to this.
It's not just Racism that our Government are afraid of. It is doing something (forcefully) towards other areas (Pirates etc). For example, you haven't seen our forces go wading in with SF to rescue crews or people from the Pirates and yet we have seen France, Russia, America and other countries do such work and successfully (usually).
It's as if our Government are afraid of upsetting someone but that will be our downfall soon.
Stop sending aid to Pakistan, stop giving them money, stop providing anything to them full stop.

Re: Pakistan is definitely helping the Taliban
I agree totally ,one of these days with abit of luck we will be dragging our leader out of a sewer to face charges for crimes against its own people.

Re: Pakistan is definitely helping the Taliban
Completely agree Rich, this country has become too soft - what ever happened to the words "Britain is sending a Battleship" which use to instil fear. Mrs Thatcher may not have been everyone's politician - but by God when she spoke and played hard ball, she got results. Can you imagine Blair of Cameron giving the order "No one survives"
We need to sit up and realise that the British Voters come first - but everything is far too PC. Can't do anything....rant over
So what are our government going to do about this? Me, I'd withdraw all aid - a political option with no military.

Ok, so it's the BNP - a party no-one ever wishes to be associated with - but if this is the truth (can someone check please? Can access the BNP site, but not the Number 10 or any newspapers' websites!), then doesn't it make the above totally irrelevant? Reducing the number of immigrants coming to the UK, but increasing the amount of aid to Pakistan three-fold!
