Sadly I have to tell you that Michael Land died earlier this morning.
A lifelong aviation enthusiast ,especially the Fleet Air Arm and all things Buccaneer, he was probably known to quite a few members.
I will post arrangements when I know them.

Re: Michael Land.
Thanks for letting us know, Richard, I remember Mike but haven't seen him for a long time. He will be sadly missed amongst the aviation enthusiast community.
Wasn't he affectionately known as 'The Vicar'?
Rest in peace, Michael.

Re: Michael Land.
Indeed he was Mike. Nothing to do with religion though!

He was a font of knowledge, knew him from Prestwick and Lossiemouth, RIP Michael.
Re: Michael Land.
Old friend of many jaunts in UK and USA and great memories along the way is sadly missed. Sparring with US Army security at Fort Rucker and night out on Bourbon Street after NAS Pensacola were classics.
RIP Mike
