England 200 behind with only 4 wickets remaining and one of those is Anderson who can loiter but that is about all

Down to Stokes and Foakes

It looks unlikely but you just cannot predict what this England side are going to do

Wonder what's going on there - hope he and his closest are alright

Also Jadeja and Rahul doubtful - in the squad but might not play, I don't get that??

Spinner Ravindra Jadeja and batter KL Rahul, who both played in the first Test, have returned to the squad but will only play "subject to fitness clearance from the BCCI medical team", the board added.

Bad for India and unfortunate, I echo slogans comments, yet a big opportunity for England!

Need all of our batsmen to dig in and dig deep for this game and don't rely on others or get started and fail to capitalise.

England back in, Wood has three wickets

Talk sport 2 must be a weak signal as I can only get reception upstairs in the bathroom!

Debutant Sarfaraz in

Love this snippet from the BBC

Sarfaraz scored 161 against England Lions just a few weeks ago. He's a 26-year-old right-hander and is more from the Mike Gatting or Inzamam-ul-Haq school than Virat Kohli, if you catch my drift.

So you get the picture 😁

Sarfaraz 50 on debut - facing Root is probably helpful

Anderson replacing Joe Root

India 310-4

Close of play on day 1 India 326-5

Could have been a lot worse for England but then it could have been a lot better
