I assumed Boscombe Down as teddys are stuffed with Down and Boscombe is a trucking company in the South.... maybe I got that wrong...

With a crossword you normally have at least one letter to work off

I was thinking the letters in between are HIJKLMNO.. or H To O .. hence WATER...
