Harry Irons’ logbook has been heavily used. The yellowing pages present information in a simple, emotionless context, but each and every entry has a story attached to it. In amongst the numerous training flights and air-tests are red entries, denoting an operation – no fewer than sixty. Hi AeroResource,
Your post is very interesting - we must never forget these WWII pilots and aircrew - who after all put their lives on the line for us - my father served in WWII
and I am very proud of him for this - I am now 57 yrs of age and if this resistance had not have happened then we could be living in a completely different system
to which we live today - we owe a lot to these courageous servicemen, be it either Air Force, Navy or Army - they should NEVER be forgotten --Paul :thumb:
