Interesting question as 99/206 Sqn do not have a callsign allocated to them that this could relate to.
all i can find is OCTANE which belongs to Bae Warton, aircraft could be testing something for them i guess, and OCTAVE which is a reserve call sign, but it could be that as well. will ask around

I believe that the meaning of the Octopus/Squid on 206 Sqn badge is that the tentacles signify their ability to have a global reach.
