Wouldn’t keep your hopes up for Blackjack if that’s the case then Venom. Never seen it myself in the flesh but wouldn’t mind if it did appear. Think they’re using it sparingly these days. …….

I am reliably informed that the BBMF Spitfire and Harvard will be using Glasgow as a base for the show. Can't see why they should but that's what I have been told.

There is a Rolls Royce Heritage Spitfire and Harvard listed so they might use Glasgow as the Rolls Royce factory is nearby.

BBMF is a seperate item.

Its not in TMF, blackjack “should” display but the spare jet is there for a reason

Regarding 'Blackjack' -

Is this the nickname of the jet or is it the callsign?

Asking because I'm sure I've heard callsigns 'Blackjack' & 'Anarchy 1' both used regarding the display Typhoon.

As far as I am aware “Blackjack” is the nickname of the specially painted display Typhoon and the Typhoon Display Callsign Matt(?) Brighty the display Pilot is Anarchy 1.

I for one would love to see Blackjack over Ayr Low Green this Weekend - but who knows?
