Charlie 26 did you read the serial off on arrival as "Live logs" shows the serial as R225, I don't think R153 is flying anymore so could be a mis-coded box.

No it was from ADSB. It arrived in heavy rain and unreadable in my photo. Will attempt to confirm on departure. Code is 64-GY

Still showing as R153 (3B779C, if that helps or adds to the confusion for those who know what these are - not me) ADSB, heading south over the Solway at 1521. Just shows nothing to beat the Mk.1 eyeball.

Thanks Charlie , working in Linwood today but missed the Herk
due to heavy cloud .
I understand an Italian C130 also overflew Glasgow today .

The Transall offloaded pallets must be support for the TDY Atlantique

If you use any of the free trackers (or VRS based ones) like you say nothing beats the Mk 1 eyeball. However, if you have your own decoder and only enter confirmed serial/Hex code tie ups in your own database (easy to do) that does beat the Mk1 eyeball 110%. Both in range and in providing additional information.
