RCH542 C17 00-0171 dep 0655 heading east.
Noted last night on FR24 a C5M from Hopkinsville due at 1235 but it's disappeared now.
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....
Sunday 2nd March
Re: Sunday 2nd March
I'd never heard of Hopkinsville.
A small town in Kentucky - I suspect this C-17 is out of the nearby Fort Campbell, Kentucky a massive US Army facility, home of the 101st Airborne and the 160 SOAR ( special forces ).
Re: Sunday 2nd March
The C5M (86-0020) had been listed out of Campbell (KHOP).
There were ACARS messages showing it KDOV to KHOP, but nothing for EGPK.
Tracking seems to suggest it never left KDOV.

Fort Campbell army airfield is about 20 miles from Hopkinsville, Kentucky. That probably explains the KHOP airport/airfield code for Fort Cammbell army airfield
