rumoured that a C-2A Greyhound is expected about 1700, probably due to the local multi-national exercise starting.

There are also a couple of Draken Falcon 20s basing at HMS Gannet.

There's a C-2 162161 c/s RG01 currently over central Spain heading North (from Rota) showing on ADSB. Could it be this one?

FR24 has this going to Brest.

It is, should be coded 42 due after dark

Noted on FR24 around 1600 a Belgian Airforce NH90 helicopter RN-04 (TRITNO4) off the coast of Arran at Holy Isle.
A short time later when I was down at the beach you could see three Navy ships in the same area no doubt all on exercise..

NH90 seen from Portencross- all other ships hangar doors down & welded 🥲

Visually confirmed with code 42 on front of the aircraft.
