Increase in Practice Flypasts

Post by np1991 » Tue Mar 16, 2010 7:37 pm

Been hearing alot on the scanner about practice flypasts at Kinloss in the last week or so, probably gearing up for March 26th and 31st  :(

Any idea about numbers involved, there was some chat a while back about a six ship? To get up on the 31st means me skipping a free bar all day so it rests on what's happening.

Today it was only 1, but I think they are planning to put as many airworthy Nimrods in the air on the 31st, with a possibility of a MRA.4 turning up :thumb:

Cheers for that, I can't believe I'm considering passing on a free bar for this!

Yesterday (24/03) there was a cracking display of 2 Nimrods, im 50/50 on the fact that i missed the photo oppertunity cause i was driving, but its great cause i didnt watch it behind my viewfinder.

Im thinking of heading up tomorrow, but ill be leaving at about 1500hrs, i just hope there is some action!
