No problem :thumb:

Can confirm through photos that the Lynx is ZE378 and there's a Chinook HC2 serial ZD980/DD
Also C17 ZZ177 returned this morning as Acscot 813 and flew a mission, again as Nestegg. Final note there was a welcome couple of circuits from Leuchars 09 in the form of twin-sticker ZK379/EX :thumb:

Hi

That's ok no problem the reason I asked was a Chinook came over the top of Coningsby yesterday evening with the call sign vortex 519 and I was wondering if that was you second Chinook.

Regards.

Any idea when participating aircraft are due to leave?
May the skies be clear and blue and the wind fair with a guiding star to steer by.

I would certinly like to know this as well as i'm on holiday for the next 2 weeks

I had a run upto Kinloss last night to see if there was anything going on but unfortunatly the place was dead :(

There were however 10 Hawks in a nice neat row, 3 Falcons, 1 C17 and 1 Herc (hidden behind the tower) no sign of any Puma's or Chinooks.

The Chinooks are operating from the North side of the airfield(the large White Hangar) I take it the Puma is over there as well.

Usually Thursday evening or Friday morning. Some of the participants might go back to their home base directly after the mission on Thursday afternoon.

The C17 and Shadow both left Friday evening. I thought they might've came back today  Not sure about the Herc  Noticed they've put the Falcons behind the tower and the Chinooks and Puma are gone also :(
Cheers Niall

The Hawks and Falcons were all out again today - including a pretty impressive 4 ship departure by the Hawks. The two Lynx also got airborne just before two-ish heading West where they dropped down to low level. Was kind of hoping to see the C17, Herc and Shadow today but I guess operational demands come first.....

Re the two Lynx mentioned as flying yesterday - there's only been mention of one previously(ZE378) but there was certainly two flying again this afternoon, returning from a sortie to the West at about 1530. Anyone have the serial for the other?

Regards

has there been any movement at Kinloss today?

I was there a few days ago and the herc and C-17 were gone, have they returned?

I was planning on taking a drive up by tomorrow to try and catch something other than Hawks and Falcons

Cheers
