Yup, been used for talkdowns. However it's a standard NATO frequency used almost everywhere.
Cheers Niall

I was there on Tuesday evening and I got nothing at all on UHF (277) or VHF (122 or 123) except a call to Winter Ops at Lossie and a final call on 122.1 to Kinloss at 2 miles for the full stop. I,m just wondering if the P8 now has a discrete frequency. I was getting Typhoon departures quite clearly from Lossie (and Lossie Tower responding) but I didn't get anything from the P8 whilst it was doing its circuits.
