Dougie,
There was a recent posting regarding the 6 squadron line-up and i dont think it has changed. I did see on the Coningsby thread that ZJ947/EI was noted sitting fully marked on the flight line there last week.

As for the F3s, not sure at all but i did hear that 3 are soon for RTP. Not sure on the grobs either but G-CGKK/L/M/N/O are the ones i remember. 2 of these are loaned out to Glasgow as well.
Arabest,
Geoff.
PS, Grobs include I and J as well.

Hi Geoff
cheers for that , yeah couple of times i was up last year The Tutors were not
flying Geoff, i think there are 5 based i think?
Anyway i think i only noted 6 111sqn Tornado's as well, they are phasing them out quicker than i thought Geoff
I Take there are not many left now :S
Yeah i make it 14 6sqn tiffies now, so that is 6 new machine's since the last time i was up Geoff
Thinking in heading up some time in March :thumb:
anyway cheers for the info Geoff

There's about 10 Tornado F3 and 14 Typhoons.

I believe the F3s still on strength are: HA/HB/HD/HF/HH/HL/HP/HX*/HY/JU (there may be a couple more.)
* HX apparently had some problem recently so may not fly again.

As for Typhoons: ED/EF/EG/EJ/EK/EL/EX were present last Thursday. But I'm sure there are many more.

Chris.

6 Sqn currently have 9 Tiffies but are scheduled to recieve i believe upto 20 aircraft, F3's situation is 10 aircraft with a reduction down to possible 6 for their disbandment on the 31st March
