Re: Exercise Chameleon
Two of the fast boats (ribs or solid jet boats) are arriving at Tayport Harbour today for exercise Chameleon. Just had notification of the crane being in and restricting cars. I would love a shot of one of those.....
Hopefully we get a decent amount of flying again.

ASCOT173 C130 (ZH889) back up and looks to be inbound again
Re: Exercise Chameleon
Could I ask, are we likely to have any helicopters at Leuchars seeing as I got my hopes up since I one year saw 3 Apaches over Edinburgh and since then have watched for them in hope? Just to avoid any disappointment.
Re: Exercise Chameleon
Leuchars is seemingly primary base for the ex so we should see some choppers. Although there will be night flying aswell as sorties down south over the 3 weeks
Re: Exercise Chameleon
Herc (ZH889) is departing Leuchars at 10:00 back mid afternoon. ZH886 will also join mid afternoon as ASCOT5818
Re: Exercise Chameleon
ZH889 departed as ALBERT01
Re: Exercise Chameleon
I assume Chinooks Lifter 1 and 2 currently northbound passing Scunthorpe and Newark are Leuchars bound
Edit: Apparently going to Leeming
