48th TF at Leuchars

2 x F-15Es of the USAF's 48th TF pitched up at Leuchars the other day as part of a forward deployment exercise.

Presume you mean 48th FW. If TF meant Tactical Fighter (Wing), the USAF dropped "Tactical" titles back in 1991/

Exactly mister, I got my letters jumbled up I recall TFW, TFS, TRW and TRS far more readily only dropped the wrong letter.
