Re: Based Typhoon & callsign/frequencies listing.
Heard departing Leuchars today @ 14.01hrs was Tribal 31 flight Mike. First time i've heard the callsign since it was briefly used last summer alongside Stampede and Winston. Can safely assume this is another 1(F)Sqn callsign.

Cheers Niall, has anyone seen it since though ?np1991 wrote:ZK342/ED confirmed on SGS by Statler on January 24th
Based Typhoon & callsign/frequencies listing.
In confirmation of the previously posted ID of Typhoon FGR.4 "ED" in full No.6 Squadron markings, this aircraft was noted as ZK342 again today at Leuchars - by means of the Mk.1 eyeballat at close range!
Also confirmed by the same means was ZK339, now fully marked up as "FG" in full No.1 Squadron markings.
More will doubtless follow shortly.

Based Typhoon & callsign/frequencies listing.
Thanks Ian.

Re: Based Typhoon & callsign/frequencies listing.
On the subject of frequencies does anyone think that the Army will want to keep any Air Traffic Control just in case they keep the Runway for potential Army Trooping Flights using the Runway if they actually keep it? or in the event that any of the Army Units happen to have a Helicopter or two at their disposal.............
