Hornets for Joint Warrior

Post by Captain Skyhawk » Thu Mar 22, 2012 10:19 am

Hi,
The current issue of Aviation News is saying that USN Hornets are expected to be operating from Leuchars during Joint Warrior 121. Does anyone know more about that? Any unit details? Anything else expected at Leuchars for the exercise?

Cheers,
CS

USS Enterprise is NOTAMED to be working in the Mediterranean next week. Surely it's unlikely they would sail into the Med then sail all the way back to the North Sea/ Atlantic ?

They cancelled almost as soon as they were announced and that was weeks ago. Rather disappointing but as with all these rumours, never believe it until you see the Dunlops on the runway!
