some times leuchars uses 293.825 275.375 369.250 and 255.400

Leuchars use those freqs nearly every day

275.375 LEUCHARS GROUND
293.825 LEUCHARS TOWER
255.400 LEUCHARS DEPARTURES
369.250 LEUCHARS ATIS
If it cant be fixed with a hammer, then its an electrical problem.

Hello guys, if i program in all the Air to air freq's for Leauchers and Lossie will i be able to hear Typhoons and Tornadoes training overhead near fort William?

Depends on the range of your scanner and atmospheric conditions of the day. Give it a go and see how you get on but obviously you're not going to know if there are any transmissions unless you hear them :roll: I can pick up aircraft comms from Tain but not the tower so you might just get one-way. Better than nothing though.....

Cheers for reply onemac, I have a Yupi 7100 with standard aerial,. Ill put them all in and see what happens.....

Saying that the Tornadoes and typhoons aint over as often as they used to be! A day like today though u could expect some activity!
