Dunno, but it just left.

Edit - just been for a Chinese and there's another one blanked up for the night on the old VAS pan.

Evening all,
This may or may not shed some light on the i/d of the Chinook.A Chinook landed at about 1817 on Sat evening (No callsign but thanks to a post on Scotavnet i/d as ZA681/AB),it was still there when I left work around 2150.Also a C-130J was moving around on the ground about 2030ish,this remains unidentified at the moment.
Two C130's were reported over the Holy Loch area on Sat,C-130K(XV214)and an unidentified C-130J. ZH883 was reported at Prestwick,so may or may not be the candidate for Leuchars.
Reports of a TA exercise might explain the C-130's and Chinook out on a Sat?
"Lifter 1" appears to be reported heading North about 1400 today in the Borders area,so unless ZA681 dep late last night or this morning it could well be a different a/c.

Sorry,
Chinook should be ZA671/AB,not 681.

Scotavnet report that Chinook ZA711 was picked-up by SBS in the Stirling area today, this should be the other one.
