Well went up hoping for some blue skies and action,sadly only managed 1 out of 2,that being the latter.

Appears the base was on somewhat of a no fly day with the caravan not even venturing out to the runway today.

2 of the German Tonkas departed for home before I got there leaving behing 46+08 which departed early afternoon as "German Air Force k 06"

2 F3s out of the hangar on the line were HW 111 mks and GP 43 mks,HW later departed as "Leuchars 35" not sure if he returned or not.

GF was 1 of the Rafairs which arrived back this morning,possibly from Reims? Didnt get a good look at the other.

Funnily enough I thought the same,but I was told 111 were up on Friday operating with a 3 ship??

To be honest I had hoped for the chance to get the German Tonkas in sunshine more than anything.

Have heard 111 over the last couple of weeks both Mondays and Fridays.
