Mountain Home F15s and their tankers returning to the states from Lakenheath.

Re: Contrails
Should be another 6 tomorrow, keep an eye on the thread that I posted above.

Re: Contrails
Will do. Thanks.
Can you give some advice? I’m a happy amateur compared to some of you guys.
I was using Flightradar24 last week and was able to see some of the big boys out of Brize when the exercise was on. Couldn’t see Typhoon on it though.
Why can we see some but not all and is there a better app to use for tracking.
Thanks

Re: Contrails
Military wise, 360radar is the best from my experience. Think it is around £20 for the year as a subscriber and free if you set up a feed for them and contribute data. For what you get, £20 a year is a very fair price.
Re: Contrails
You could always use this one for free, it's not quite as good as 360radar but you'll see plenty of military aircraft on it :- https://tar1090.adsbexchange.com/
Just click on the 'U' at the top-right of the screen to filter-out civilian aircraft.
The remaining F-15s should be leaving Lakenheath shortly with 3 x KC-135s from Mildenhall, so keep an eye on the thread I posted above.

Very well caught Jim. Grats.
Re: Contrails
Thanks Contrail .. was just lucky they trailed so much!
I once went to almost Crianlariach to get some F35s and Tankers in pure blue sky heading out over the pond .. heard them but could we see them .. no!
I went to Leuchars to get the typhoons who had been there all week doing practice approaches. They never showed up that Friday, but luckily the F15s n Tankers did, no all was good.
