Are you sure that VP-47 a/c is support only? That's one of the Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii based units and are seldom seem over here.

It had no tailcode decal and was operating under a Navy RD callsign. Which suggests it has switched squadron.

Just for the record: VP-47 has been deployed to Sigonella since December 2011 and has taken over some of the Orions of VP-45 including 159507

This is mainly for Lossiemouth visitors, however if you feel like starting a thread like this in the Prestwick section I'm sure the locals and people who are visiting PIK would appreciate it.

Just had a P3 go south over Compton around 20 minutes ago.

Presumably 1 x P3 returning to Sigonella? Big question anyone know which one please?

Hi Guys, couple of quick questions if you have the time - has the P-8 been on patrol yet and is there any sign of the UH-60's? Hoping to rock up at Lossie tomorrow morning (heard weather isn't going to be too clever though ) so keeping fingers crossed. Cheers B

Updated. If anyone could fill in the remaining Cobham Falcon 20 serials that would be great.

HH-60G are 89-26205 and 89-26212 parked in the 617 Sqdn HAS area.
