Checked in on Swanwick as 'FAF7160' 'Alpha', 'Bravo' and 'Charlie' but probably 60/61/62 for flight planning.

They initially arrived at Lossie as "JEDI 21 Combine" with a 1 Sqn French Exchange pilot in a Typhoon acting as their escort, ATC at Lossie were calling 7160, 61 & 62, and they all responded accordingly clear as a bell.

Lossie approach asked if it was FAF 7160/1/2 to which they replied yup. Yet when they checked in on Swanwick it was FAF 7160A/B/C

Was this a pre exchange visit, seems odd that a support CN-235 was used for a two day visit, or was the CASA not connected with the Rafales?

The CASA brought in groundcrew, and it looks like its just airborne out of Evreux once again as CTM2049

Thanks Jim, surprised that the French brought their own ground crew for such a short period, would’ve just been done by our own people once upon a time…

Not these days I,m afraid. CN-235 CTM2049 is inbound and not far away just now to take them home. CN-235M 071 again
