Jan 24th

Post by Bluetail » Mon Jan 24, 2022 5:00 pm

Not a single Typhoon flew today and only two were to be seen outside, one in the southern HAS site but was tail on so no idea which one it was, the other was ZK314 (still in 2 Sqn mkgs) which was pulled out of Hangar K17 for an APU run then taken back in again.

ASCOT 4512 on arrival, 4513 on departure, Atlas C.1 ZM403, it went back to Brize with 78 on board and on arrival down there spent about 2 hrs in the circuit (charming)

RAF P8,s ZP804, 07, 03, 06, 05 & 09,.......... 01, 02 & 08 probably in the big hangar
P-8A 168436-LF of VP-16
P-8A 168756-LF of VP-16 arrived as "TALON 69"

RAFAIR 7041 Poseidon ZP803
RAFAIR 7040 Poseidon ZP805
Stingray 01 Poseidon ZP807, conducted a planned rejected take off, if as previous events like this, it will probably fly later this week (if serviceable)

NAVY 750 Flt
x3 RN Merlin HC.4s, in order of landing they were...ZJ120-D, ZJ122-F, ZJ131-P and they are night stopping.

ZM403 landed after 1 overshoot at Brize Jim, it was the other one (ZM413 RRR463) that bashed the circuit for ages on arrival back at Brize.

Thanks for the log. :thumb:

It's an F/A-18E serial apparently, but I think it's really a typo for 168436 :- viewtopic.php?f=74&t=214860

Thanks Graeme, just a silly typo by me, no idea why I put 355, it is 168436 of course (the one that arrived yesterday) I,ve corrected it now.
