The only Typhoon action was as follows
ZK353 & ZJ924 of 9 Sqn each flew twice today as "Borris 11 & 12" in the morning and as "Vodka 21 & 22" in the afternoon
Merlin HM.2 ZH856 flew a local sortie as "Dolphin 14" and as far as we know didn't go to HMS PoW
Hunter F.58 ZZ191 (G-HHAD) (the grey/grey splinter camo one) as "Scampton 33" did a PAR and two visual circuits
Three Chinooks arrived calling "Onslaught" and are here for a while. In order of landing they were as follows, HC.6A ZH894, HC.6A ZH891 and HC.5 ZH902.

Re: Log Sept 30th
Saw the chinooks flying low level through Tillyfourie (near Alford) on the way back from picking my son up from school in Monymusk - about 3.40pm. Great to see some low flying for a change, since the Tonkas went we get nothing around Alford. Few typhoons flying high level circuits
