Great log Al,

Additional Typhoons noted during the day were:
302
374
2 Sqn line (along with 369 & 425 noted above):
424
426
Noted outside the Hangar closest the 23 threshold at 12:30:
923
321 6 Sqn Markings - A good one for me, appears to be a Weapon Load Trainer (WLT) aircraft?

Pirate 09 returned at 15:12 and departed at 15:58 for Leeming

Also of note this evening is a new callsign to me used by the Swiss Hornets: Tobler

Thanks Neil for additional info.on the Typhoons.Nearest Hangar to 23 is 1 Sqn with 6 Sqn on B Hard (behind tower to south). 2 Sqn are in the HAS site to south of field .9 Sqn are expected to occupy old TEF Hangar next year.
Swiss used also callsign Tobler here at times last year.

Is there something wrong that no one has posted any pictures of the F-18s?
I've seen more pictures on Facebook than on this specialist forum.

Probably something to do with the general apathy shown towards photographers who take the time to post pics - sometimes without a single comment or thanks. That and the fact that forums have less of an immediate impact in this age of technology.

I don't know Al, I once posted a set from a JW at Lossie and it got rave reviews, especially the pics of the 2 Hall 135's that did an overshoot on successive days. :D

That's a shame Al. I've seen photos on FB, but I only ever view it on my phone so would like to see some on the forum too.
