Hi, if anyone has any 'info' on when she might be airborne for the remainder of the exercise, would it be possible to PM me? Keep missing her taking off.
I realize it's not predictable at all, and i would use the info very discreetly, and not one to continually ask favours such as this, but my own hours 'at the fence' are sporadic due to commitments and have been quite unlucky so far. So thank you in advance, not expecting anyone to know anything though!!

Lossiemouth based Poseidon.
If it is any help it has flown most days. This morning (Wed) I watched it leave at around 7am heading west(ish) figure around 8hrs out before return.
I think yesterday he left later in the day though, hard to predict unless in the know.

Thank you very much! You think he will be back around 3 this afternoon, is that what you meant? Thanks again, appreciated.

It took off yesterday at 1135L and landed at 1635L, a 5 hour mission. As others have already said, it is unpredictable. Sorry to add to uncertainty!

Thanks all, yes there seems to be no predictability at all, at least not THIS week! Perhaps the best or most predictable time to catch it would be when it leaves.

There was not 8 tornados. Mentor 1 to 4 in the morning + Stella 1 and 2 and a Lossie callsign. But there were plenty of Typhoons up all day.

For anyone interested, she went up at about 0710L today. I don't know when she returned. I wonder if the final day of the exercise will taken on a similar pattern? Then i imagine a few days of golf and whisky then departure early next week?
