Understood. It's the SH-60 I'm curious about.

I would hazard a guess that the SH-60 will be Spanish Navy and ship based. The USN only have one SH-60 unit remaining in service and they're in the process of transitioning.

You're quite right Thunder. I've now had it confirmed that the SH60 will be embarked in SPS Alvaro de Bazan. So that just leaves the two MH-60Rs without a deck. Still 10 ships unaccounted for...

I believe a Turkish KC-135 is also due at Lossie unless you have missed that out because it's counted as a support aircraft.

Don't believe they are due, we reckon they cancelled.

I'm led to believe it's staying for the duration of the exercise?

No Mirages on the briefing I have.

Only AAR asset down for Joint Warrior is a Voyager. KC135 is not scheduled to fly any missions and doesn't appear on briefing. It could conceivably bring the F16s over and then take them home, but not planned to fly for JW if it does pitch up.

USN P3 pulled out a month or 2 ago.

Just had German AF 914 on 11217 HF working DHM91. Requested wx for Lossie and gave an ETA of 1050Z. Not sure if JW related or not.
