ZK345 came out the paint shop today in 9sqn markings with WS-C also applied. ZK377 went in as this came out so would expect more 9sqn markings

Very good catch that, das.

Would imagine a changeover is imminent then although I would have thought they'd have been replaced by later ZK airframes rather than ZJ's again.

The current plan is/was to keep the current 4 Tranche 1 Typhoons down South until 2027.... They being the last to be retired

I think this has been at Lossiemouth for a few years, was it coded 'R'?

It had 920 on the tail. It’s flown earlier in the year also coded as 920 so nothing old about it. Think this is the new phase of Tranche 1s heading south with the current ones out there being retired

No menace in my reply, apologies if it was took that way. Just wanted to clear up it hasn’t been coded ‘R’ in years

ZK370 flying with 1sqn, ZK323 flying with 9sqn, ZK432 flying with 2sqn. Believe these to be newly home after deployment. ZK349 landed from Coningsby going to 6sqn. All unmarked

ZK377 now unmarked. My guess will be it was unmarked as it flew as an air spare to go abroad with 342 & 345 so now it’s back home should be reapplied with markings soon. 345 may also be unmarked now but not eyeballed
