Current Voyager Sortie

Post by Boeingman » Sat May 08, 2021 1:37 pm

As a 'newbie, is that common to see RAF Voyager tanking sorties such as that currently being flown by "Madras 26" off the west cost of Scotland at the weekend? Is it likely to in support of a deployment or an exercise? Thanks.

It's refuelling UK & USMC F-35Bs from the carrier Queen Elizabeth which is off the Scottish coast as part of an exercise, more info is in this thread in the OTT/Heads up section which you will be able to access after posting 5 times on the forum :- viewtopic.php?f=8&t=204498&p=1294728#p1294728
