This logs records what happened on the 18th, and refers to only military and TEST aircraft at EGNO Warton, it will
not include visits to Spadeadam or include any of my other hobbies. In future the Test Pilot callsigns will be typed
as T and none of their names will be recorded christian or otherwise. Of all the sites on the net, the one I rely on is
http://www.targetlock.org.uk/index1.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It always helps if you complete all the web address.

On Monday we had the usual flights by T11 in a PC 9 & T14 in a Hawk XX321.

now for the more interesting part.

15.45pm T 9 in Saudi Typhoon ZK 078 tail code 310 single seater dry Rotation.F/F

16.15pm T 5 in Primer Typhoon two seater ZK380 dry rotation.F/F

when I left a single seater primer typhoon was towed from the MTA to S/S hangars
this left one Saudi single seater Typhoon + one U/I Typhoon both were painted up.

Only one item of note.

16.10pm T5 in two seater Typhoon Zk 379 this was the first time I had seen a reheat rotation for quite a long time.

As this is a momentus day for the Defence Industry and BAE Systems in particular, BAE are due to make a statement on Thursday on how the SDR will affect the workforce at Warton.

My computer link to Tiscali has gone US. so logs will be via the local library.

Wednesday the 20th, Log

An interesting day on the local and political front.

11.35am. T 9 in Typhoon ZK 311 as he did not RTB im assuming it was delivered to Coningsby dry rotyation.

11.40am T12 in Hawk T1 XX321.

11.47am T08 in Tornado GR4 ZA 402 RB 199s glowing nicely.

12.12pm Right in the middle of PMQ T 5 in IPA 5 in spectacular reheat rotation.

12.40pm Victor 29 Valley T1 Hawk. 13.47 Lima 27 Tucano ZF 264 single approaches.

Whilst PMQ and The Chancellor was on an Apache flew down the river Ribble and circled over St Annes
from 12.25 to 12.40pm headed N/east. plus a strange looking twin engine civvy with T Tail and and wingtips
landed later into that it was a Diamond 42 I may have got this wrong but there were three of similar type at
Farnborough.

16..00. T5 in New build primer Hawk ZK 036 only up for approx 18 minutes.
Talk about being versatile T5 got out of the Hawk went to flight Ops changed
Pilots suit and got into a different suit and got into bt 24 Typhoon.

17.02pm T5 in Typhoon BT 24 ZJ 379 another T5 spectacular reheat Rotation takes you back
to July and the Farnborough practices.

Log for Thurs 21st, I went to a Probus meeting this morning on Aviation it was about the moon
landings and the types of aircraft the Astronauts use to fly..Arrived at Warton to find the PC 9
doing circuits on what had been a quiet day.

Roundabout 4.0pm we heard the encouraging words crew walking for B?67 ZK 312 for what would
be another first flight this week, I waited for the lid to go down after half an hour lid went up
so I called it a day.

log for Monday 25th Oct. An absolutely stunning day almost cloudless.

during the morning the base taxi CO flew a pilot to Brough to collect T2 ZK 019 which arrived back at Warton in the early afternoon it looked rather strange with its all black fuselage but primer yellow upper main wing.

on the north pan was another primer hawk and a tornado was parked on the southside.

Thanks to Zero-Gravity for solving the mystery of the 4 Bell 412s that flew over Warton south to north
we never heard them on the radio. this what they look like.

The advice from within Warton is that if you take a photo or image of anything on site as long as the person
taking the photo/image is off site ie the other side of the fence there isnt a problem. The item on the pole is
one of may different shaped models of varying sizes that are tested on the radar range. If it was a classified
project it would be concealed either inside the moveable hangar or tested during the hours of darkness.

After months of testing they sometimes look like this.
