1st time BT17 has appeared on mode-S for a while then...only IPA6 has been showing recently as far as the based "development" fleet go.

ZK303/AX (BT017) "WTN10" (solo) T/O rwy07 @ 1249L. Underwing tanks fitted plus FTI pod on R/H outer pylon (ITSPL).
Recovered initials 07 @ 1416L, low o/s 1418L, t/go 1420L & land 1423L.
Did not appear on ads-b/mode-S tracking sites.

Presumably FTI is Flight Test Instrumentation, and ITSPL the Integrated Tip Stub Pylon Launcher - just to help anyone, like me, unfamilier with these add-ons!

You are indeed correct. I assumed most people knew FTI acronym and I have explained the ITSPL acronym in a very recent post. Perhaps I should have just said outboard pylon. Cheers

ZK356 (BS117) "WTN69" dep 25 @ 1255L. Climbed into block FL350-450 on NW track initially. Descended to operate 'surface' to FL190 (1347L).
Seen 1405L over estuary and L/H orbit (1406L). Flew a pattern towards an airfield facility (on sth side field?) at 4,500ft then at 3000ft, E>W then return to east (1409-1417L). Vectors for SRA/Talkdown to 25, t/g 1424L. "Sporty" tight L/H break into visual circuit plus 2 t/gs (1426/29L), then low overshoot 1431L (R/H afterburner engaged). Landed 1433L.

ZK303/AX (BT017) "Fighter1" (WTN10?) seen climbout rwy25 @ 1144L.
ZK356 (BS117) "Fighter 2" seen on climbout 1200L (flown by WTN69).

Using each other as targets, no other aircraft involved. "Fighter2" mostly operating FL410-460.

"F1" recover downwind 25 & land 1335L. "F2" seen over sth of airfield did 2 orbits 1335-36L just as BT17 was landing. Back out to west
given "exclusive use of airfield" (1345L); initials 25 @ 1349L, t/g 1350L, land 1353L.

B73F G-JMCM "BAE/Felix102" arr 1121L from AKT (saudi spares flt taif -AKT yesterday).
