10:42L ish - ZK350/WTN69 (Typhoon FGR.4) Performance T/O -
unsure when last flown, looks like on PFAT test
ZK350 (BS111) showing on adsb hexcode 43C70C. After T/o rwy 07 climbed to FL400 to NW for a high speed run as per PFAT1 (but not in this case of course as PFAT1 was Mon 8/7/13 flown by WTN05 1435-1530L (jet already painted); PFAT2 Fri 12/7/13 WTN69 1501-1605z; PFAT3 Weds 17/7/13 WTN69 1213-1332L with BT17 as target and "off test"; handed over/accepted 10/10/13 but loaned back to BAES for ground trials). Recovered with low flyby from nth then extended out to east for long app 25 + t/go 1145z. Then another t/go @ 1147z after visual circuit and landed 25 @ 1149z, deploying brakechute (as per a PFAT1 schedule).
("Local area"...more Puma activity...
XW213 [43C28F] "AMBUSH01" on mode-S, more likely a Vortex callsign; departed Woodvale, SSE of Wigan @ 1050z (1300ft) hdg SE; following Manch LL corridor, passing Jn21A/M6 @ 1052z hdg sth;
ZJ955 [43C2AE] "SHF234"(Vortex234) on adsb had departed Woodvale and headed sth via Manch LL corridor; passing just west of Crewe @ 1417z (850ft) then headed SE (Tamworth area @ 1440z);
ZJ956 [43C2AF] "VORTX242" on adsb, also had departed Woodvale and headed sth; Nantwich area @ 1433L (925ft); then to SE (tracked just sth Holmes Chapel/nth of Sandbach @1439z).
All RTB Benson. This has muddied the waters further as suggests 4 different Pumas were operating from Woodvale..or more dodgy miscoded boxes!?!)
Cheers
