Single seat typh seen on climbout off rwy25 @ 1425L flown by "WTN10".
Recovered with radar vectors to ILS rwy 25 + t/go @ 1558L then back out to east for SRA (Talkdown) to rwy25; another t/go @ 1605L to join visual circuit; 3 more t/go's & landed 1615L, taxying to southside.
ZJ938 (IPA6)? see Tues 8/10.

"Local" area
2xtyph 41TES "Apollo 11 Flt" operating in Irish Sea but independently from "Tarnish10".
Hex code 43CAED showing as "ZK339" to NNW of IoM @ 12kft approx (1512L). Climbed to FL410 @ 1525L direct track Cby. Passed over Barrow area in "standard formation" @ 1530L heading 130 deg. Handoff to Swanwick Mil (282.125).

16:20L - ZK343/Havoc011 (FGR.4/RAF) Heading NWW descending 21k ft for Irish Sea - tracked over Lancaster then tracked over Cleveleys @6k ft heading East potential inbound Warton

What could have been it heard @ 1635L on climbout (after flythro'?).

IPA6 (ZJ938) "WTN10" seen on climbout 25 @ 1259L (T/o 1258L).
Heard at various times in Warton overhead/over Fylde.
Recovered via self position downwind 25 for ILS + t/go 1433L;
Landed 1436L.

What’s next for Warton now the last RAF Typhoon has been delivered, do they have another order to fulfill or will there be a quiet period production wise?

"WTN10" in SS dev typh heard on c/out @ 1121L.
"WTN69" up in a dev typh - heard on c/out @ 1530L.
SS typh seen on steep dive attacks to warton @ 1637L (from N/NW) & also @ 1638L (from S/SW); initials & land 1642L?
Possibly IPA6 up twice. See early last week.

OTT with Sod's Law prevailing today i.e. clag and more clag...
KC-10A 79-1950 [AE012F] "Roma11H" coasted out over the Fylde 1129L @ FL280; direct KOOGA? 1132L ex Hall;
Atlantique NG No.28 [3B9BCC] "FNY5280" passed just east Preston 1400L NNW>SSE @ FL190 ex PIK based for Ex JW.

Heard @ 1412L at about 11000ft passing W>E over Ribble estuary.
Direct UPTON 1414L so not landing at Warton.

I can comfirm that IPA 6 ZJ 938 was the Typhoon on trials both AM and PM today the 15th, October 2019.

Thanks. wonder how much the passenger paid for that MiG-29 experience?
Climbed to just over 56000ft. Curvature of the earth more pronounced than I expected. Maybe exaggerated by lens used?

Departed as "BAE/Felix 101" (as usual) @ 1200L. Destination showing as Paphos on PlaneFinder, but Akrotiri on FR24. More likely the latter. Presume spares support for typhoon detachment there (unless of course it goes further afield...and is just staging thro Cyprus).
